The Siding Inverurie Terms & Conditions of Booking


Law: Your booking is governed by Scottish law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.
The booking confirmation and these terms and conditions represent the entire agreement between Uppermill Farms Limited trading as The Sidings Inverurie (TSI) and the client /agent.  TSI reserves the right to amend their Booking Terms and Conditions at any time without notification.
Prices: Prices are per room, per night, inclusive Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current rate. Corporate rates may be quoted exclusive of VAT.  Limited numbers of bedrooms may be allocated to individual rates, packages or promotions. When these allocations are taken up any remaining bedrooms may be offered to the client at a higher price.
Availability: All rooms and rates offered by TSI are subject to availability at the discretion of the management.  TSI reserves the right to refuse any booking, without explanation.
Bookings: All bookings made with TSI must be guaranteed by a major credit or debit card or by payment of a deposit (Group Bookings). At the discretion of TSI, or for some promotions or packages, full pre-payment may be required. Booking agency or travel agent bookings may be guaranteed by email, fax or in writing. Commission rates must be negotiated and agreed in writing prior to booking. TSI reserves the right to refuse commission on bookings without agreed rates. Confirmation of booking/s by a client shall be deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Booking Amendments: TSI will endeavour to accommodate booking amendments however reserves the right to charge for any diminution to the booking. If we are unable to amend a booking and the client/agent subsequently cancels their reservation our standard cancellation terms will apply.
Arrival and Departure: Check in time is after 2.00pm on day of arrival. Departure is 10.00am (latest) on day of departure. Early arrivals and late departures may be arranged with TSI but cannot be guaranteed. TSI reserves the right to charge one full nights stay for unauthorised late departures.
Cancellations and Non Arrivals:  The full cost of your accommodation will be charged if the booking is cancelled within 7 day from arrival. 
Payments: bedrooms accounts are payable in full on arrival. Most major credit/debit cards are accepted.  Credit accounts are only offered further to completion by the client (and formal acceptance by TSI) of an application for credit facilities; this facility may be withdrawn at any time without notification. Credit facilities are not offered to private individuals.
Pre-authorisation of credit / debit card on arrival: TSI will pre-authorise your credit / debit card (to the value of £200 per bedroom) to secure funds against potential sundry charges as detailed below. This authorisation automatically expires after 7 days. Any applicable charges will be communicated to guests at the earliest opportunity on or after the day of departure and a receipted invoice will be forwarded to the registered address of the client/guest.
Damage / Loss : TSI reserves the right to levy a charge to cover the full cost of rectifying damage to TSI property or structure caused by (but not exclusive to) deliberate, negligent or reckless acts, omission, default or neglect by the clients, their guests or sub-contractors. Should the damage or loss come to light after the guest has departed, TSI will charge against the funds pre-authorised on the credit/debit card supplied on arrival. TSI will make every effort to keep charges to a minimum.
Smoking: In line with Scottish law, TSI operates a NO SMOKING POLICY throughout the interior of the building and reserves the right to charge up to £200 for commercial cleaning if tobacco odours or evidence of smoking is established within the bedrooms reserved.
Security / CCTV: Please note for your safety and security all entrances are monitored by CCTV cameras.
Bedroom Use: This agreement is made under the terms of schedule 4 section 8 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988 which gives the client/guest the right to occupy the apartment for the agreed period and for holiday purposes only. Please note the apartment is not for hire for the use of any illegal business activity; any client/guest or occupant found using the apartment for illegal activities will be required to leave immediately and will forfeit any payments made. TSI reserves the right to refuse any booking, without explanation.
Number of Occupants: Only the agreed number of guests notified to us prior to arrival may occupy the bedrooms. Any visitors must sign in/out at Reception, no visitors are permitted between 11 pm  and 7.00 am without written consent of the management. We shall refuse entry, terminate your stay (forfeiting any payments received) or book excess numbers into a separate bedroom (if available, at the current daily rate) if this condition is broken.
Complaint: In the event of complaints of disturbance we reserve the right to terminate your stay with immediate effect and with any payments made being held forfeit.
Statutory Requirements: TSI is subject to statutory controls, including those relating to fire, hygiene and health and safety. These requirements must be strictly adhered to by clients /guests and all occupants.
Discrimination and General Behaviour: It is the policy of TSI not to discriminate on the grounds of race, colour, nationality, creed, sex, marital status, age, ethnic origin or disability. Clients, their employees and guests are expected to adhere to this policy, TSI may, without incurring any liability to the client, remove from the apartments any person or persons not adhering to this condition
Force Majeure: TSI will not be liable for not fulfilling its obligations if failure to do so is caused by conditions beyond its control including and not limited to Acts of God , power failure, famine, war, terrorism, government intervention or any other reasonable act.
Liability: Other than for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of TSI, the bedroom liability to the Client is limited to the price of the booking.
Unless TSI is liable under the above clause, the Client indemnifies TSI from and against any and all liability and any claims, proceedings or damages resulting or arising from the booking, the Client, guests or any outside contractors of the Client. TSI does not accept responsibility whatsoever for damage to, or theft from, or theft of, vehicles parked within the authorised car park.
Third Party Liability TSI does not accept any liability for services rendered by third parties to Clients notwithstanding that such services may be arranged by TSI. Any claim, demand, charge, suit or damages which may be Incurred by the Clients or their guest (or any person claiming thereunder) shall be made directly with such third parties and TSI shall render all reasonable assistance in this regard.
Insurance The client is recommended to have and is responsible for insurance to cover cancellation, curtailment, and loss of baggage, personal effects and money.
Data  Protection The information provided by the Client may be processed by TSI for the purposes it has notified to the Information Commissioner. By confirming a booking or enquiry, the Client consents to this processing of the information. TSI respects the privacy of every individual who visits our website. The data collected about you will be used to firstly fulfil any service you might request e.g. to request a brochure, make a booking etc and secondly to improve how, as a company, we serve you.
We will under no circumstances give your personal data to third parties. However, unless you specifically ask us not to (and this option is always given) we will use your data to send you further information from TSI. Any e-mail sent to you will always provide you with the option to unsubscribe. This is in accordance with UK Data Protection Legislation.
When making a booking, your credit card or billing account details are only retained for the purpose of handling that individual transaction, unless you ask us to keep these details for future purchases which you may make through us. In order to process a booking or enquiry, your Personal Information and payment details may be passed to third party service providers and, where we are lawfully requested to do so, regulatory authorities. Such third party service providers will have access to the personal information needed to perform the relevant service. They may not, however, use your personal information for any other purposes and are required to process your personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. For your protection we are registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 and have given all appropriate notifications to the Information Commissioner.
Website information TSI cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions and reserves the right to cancel, amend or vary the details featured in this website without notice.
